The Namibia Nature Foundation (NNF) has recently appointed Angus Middleton, as the new Executive Director. Middleton has over ten years of management experience in conservation in Europe and Southern Africa.
His experience on both continents is wide-ranging from field work through to policy development and implementation, from local level to large multi-nationals and governments. The last six years he spent in Brussels as head of the Federation of Associations for Hunting and Conservation of the E.U.
Middleton was born and raised in Zimbabwe. He studied for his first degree in Ecology at University of Newcastle in the United Kingdom, and later gained a Master’s Degree in Environmental Economics and Policy at Imperial College, London.
Namibia will benefit from his expertise in natural resource management (in particular hunting and conservation), range-land management and conservation-based rural development. Middleton and his family are very happy to be back in Africa and we wish him all the best at NNF.
